Georgia became independent of the Soviet Union in 1991. Georgia has a population of 3.9 million. 83% of the people are Georgian Orthodox, and almost 11% are Muslim. The evangelical church in Georgia is very small.

We have a training representative in Georgia, and 11 of the courses from Shepherds Global Classroom are available in the Georgian language. More than 50 churches have used the courses for training and discipleship.
