KYRGYZSTAN

A Central Asian country that was once part of the Soviet Union.

90% of the people are professed Muslim, and many consider the Muslim religion essential to their culture. Christian churches are very restricted, and Bible studies or evangelism outside of a registered church building are illegal. The identity and description of our ministry training representative must be kept private for her safety.

Several ministry training courses have been translated into Kyrgyz. Numerous youth groups have gone through courses, and a seminary uses them regularly.
