MOLDOVA
A former Soviet country with a population of 2.4 million. 90% of the people profess Eastern Orthodoxy. 40% of the towns in Moldova have no evangelical churches.
Evgeniu is director of the Bible league and serves as a representative of ministry training. HPM is sponsoring translation of the courses into Romanian, the language of Moldova.
Evgeniu has reported various uses of the courses. A university is using the leadership course, and some of their students come from restricted Central Asian countries. Some of the church planters who work as missionaries for the Bible League use the course as a teaching resource for preparing converts for baptism and for preparing leaders. Pastors use courses for their leadership teams and for youth groups.
